Our mission is to significantly improve the well-being of individuals through a connection with horses. We believe that horses and the therapy they provide is an essential solution to strong and healthy individuals, families, and communities.
Hidden Wings is a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing the gifts of young adults with autism so that they might have full and productive lives in society. The organization is dedicated to the belief that everyone on the Autism spectrum possesses "hidden wings," which are extraordinary gifts often masked by social limitations. Programs emphasize: Rigorous exercise, a predictable and loving environment, as well as intellectual stimulation based on the unique gifts of each person. Hidden Wings is funded by private donations. Its programs and courses are tuition-voluntary.
The mission of the Santa Ynez Valley Therapeutic Riding Program is to provide quality equine assisted activities to children and adults with physical, cognitive, social, emotional and or other life challenges, regardless of their ability to pay. Our facility is a premium accredited member of PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International), and our horses have passed a strict safety rating based on the PATH system to provide the safest experience possible. The loving staff of our program consists of instructors certified by PATH and trained volunteers dedicated to enhancing the lives of the participants.
